A Lakeside Metropark Nature Walk in Toledo, Ohio

I got to spend a few happy hours wandering around a newly opened part of the metroparks system in Toledo, Ohio. This trail goes around a relitively large lake that is teeming with fish, turtles, dragonflies and much more! It was so great to be by the water and encounter some fantastic nature and wildlife.

It looks beautiful. We have some gorgeous lakes near us, surrounded by woodland, in fact we were at one of my favourites this week and I sat and watched the kids swim in the lake 🙂 A perfect place to go for a walk or have a sit and think x
